Gladiatus is a game of strategy

Gladiatus is a game of strategy
How do you maximize your gold potential?
In so doing, how do you maximize your stats?
How do you ensure that gladiators remain interested in investing in a guild, When it effectively means, the more they donate the weaker they become?

Yes there is a way, but none more so than what I am about to propose.
The "Theory is Sound", and I currently tested this system using my own scrolls stored in my packages, as opposed to using the Market or Warehouse method that I will be proposing.
There are 3 ways to do this.
1. Individual system - Excludes everyone and is for the individuals benefit only
2. The Market Trade basis - Will rely on the activity of others and the cost will result in at least 1% of the potential 5% profit
3. The Warehouse Loan Basis - An easy to manage process that can take your guild mates on the journey with you, while helping the guild to grow through the usage.

This entire system has only become feasible through the introduction of the scrolls - without the scrolls ... although this could have been pulled off via high value amulets ... It is effectively the difference between 1 000 000 profit every 48 Hours, as opposed to 6 000 000 profit every 48 Hours...
Or 500K profit a day, as opposed to 3 000 000 profit a day.

This site was created to show that the market and warehouse strategy is very similar, and that although there is a huge potential to generate loads of gold.... it is NOT a pushing mechanism - as the only difference is the reliability aspect and the 1% market fee that is applicable. The proposal is to ensure that this 1% is given to the guild, instead of lost to the abyss.

Method 1 - I will not explain, as the concept will be explained in more detail below in Method 2. As mentioned, this would exclude others, and rely on ones own scrolls they have bought or received via drops.

Method 2
This will allow for the pooling of scrolls via guildmates, however there will be a  heavy reliance on individuals been online, and will need to be confined to a small group of players.
There will need to be a testing phase, and the players need to be selected very carefully over a period of time. We will also need to contact DarkKnight in order for him to consider method 3, as if approval is received by Dark, then there will be no need to implement method 2, but rather go straight onto Method 3
[DarkKnight will need to be swore to keep the strategy confidential, no matter his outcome, as this is our intellectual property, and will change the way gladiatus is played by us - no matter the outcome - I trust that he is professional, and this was confirmed when even to this day, that although he was aware of our Low Level Donation Gladiator Strategy - No one has picked up how we pulled off the impossible - Phantom upgrade]

Steps to be taken
---------------
1. Activate the Seal of Consulate - and run down the Seal until you are able to switch. - Anything that is sold while the seal is activated will be increased by 5% of the real base value.

2. We need to assume that the average scroll value we collect is 312.500 for this proposal, and that there are at least 8 Empty vendor sheets that can be used [There are additional empty spaces, however will not factor these in].Just before switching pacts, unpack all your high level scrolls into the 8 available traders/dealers.
3.  Once the scrolls have been unpacked into the empty trader/dealer slots, the Seal of Aedil will need to be activated.
4. Once the Seal of Consulate has be deactivated, you can buy back you scrolls for the normal value and make a profit of 5% on the value of the scrolls that you have sold

5. These scrolls will be circulated between the chosen gladiators and kept in the packages of the last person to use the method above.

6. The last person holding onto the scrolls will send a private message to the selected team advising them that they have the scrolls in their backpack

7. If no one is able to buy the scrolls, the individual holds onto the scroll among their packages by repacking for 1 Gold and cancelling. [Shouldn't be for more than 24 - 48 hours].

8. When any of the selected team are online, they can message the individual with the scrolls to post them on the GM for the current value. As the Seal of Aedil is activated, this should result in a fee of 1% of the value, hence the Total profit margin for this method should result in 4% over a 48 Hour period.

9. The gold packs received for selling will then be used to buy the scrolls back the next time, as well as assist with rolling packages over a longer period of time.

So whats the Catch?
Well, initial there is going to have to be a lay out of capital in the form of Gold
However, there is a positive spin-off - Whatever the layout of capital is .... It will take 40 Days for you to have paid off your layout [Utilizing the warehouse Method] and 50 days if using the marketing strategy [5% X 20 Times @ Once every 48 Hours] - Set up is basically a 2 month phase

So why is this a game changer?
Do the Maths..........

Using the Warehouse method of 5% profit, it would equate to a profit of 3 Million per a Day, whilst based on the market method of 4%, it will result in a 2.4 Million daily profit.

What is the preferred outcome? Well both methods would work out, however the warehouse method would make things so much more simpler, as well as ensure that we can attach a fee to the use of the warehouse and use it to continually upgrade the guild - Making it one of the biggest guild's on all national servers. It would also ensure that there is a reason why we should upgrade the warehouse

Why would it be easier to use?
- Because you don't have to rely on someone selling you back the scrolls, and being online
- You don't have to pay the 1% market fee
- You can ensure that you drive a system whereby everyone that wants to participate will need to pay a fee to the guild based on their contribution
. [ Suggested 50% fee's initially, with the fees been reduced by 2% for every scroll added over 300K - until the fee hits a minimum of 20% of the total profit ]
- The fees generated will ensure that the guild becomes the Largest on any server if utilised correctly
- We can make this game exiting for everyone involved with the Den and have a serious value added proposition for the guild-mates
- We would have developed a killer strategy and made the .us server the envy of all others.

So why can't we use the warehouse as a storage for scrolls, and trade them with the vendors at the moment?
Well, there are rules currently in place, however we need to ensure that we provide clarity of our intention, as well as  play within the rules of the game. The scrolls brought with it infinite possibilities, and even the current rules are outdated and should be changed. We need to drive that change and ensure that the rules take into account our proposal to ensure that there are no grey area's

The warehouse rules stipulate the following:
1. Max 4 Items Per Day [Weapons, Armor, Jewelry, Boosts, Upgrades.]

Proposal: As the scrolls are a new introduction, and the main usage is that of a activation aspect, there is actually no financial gain unless sold off without been returned - The suggestion would be to confirm that the scrolls are to remain off the list as reflected in the current rules.

2. All of the taken items are STRICTLY meant for your own personal and actual use

Proposal: Based on the above, and without knowing the Loan strategy, who's to say that using this system does not constituted ones own personal use? Agreed that the main function is to activate the scroll, however The Den has been using scrolls for banking purposes since their introduction. Strictly speaking, we are not in breach of this rule  - But we need to ensure that DarkKnight is aware of our strategy in order for us to prove "Own personal and actual use"

3. If items that were taken from the WH were to be sold without being used at any given time, it will get categorised as Pushing.

Proposal: The object is not to sell the item, but rather to temporarily load the item to the vendor before taking back ownership within a window of between 30 minutes and an hour. A true sale would mean that the item would not be able to be taken back. If the item is taken from the warehouse, used as a loan item to the vendor, and then replaced back in the warehouse - Strickly speaking, NO sale would have taken place.

I believe our strategy is sound, and no rules actually need to be changed. Its all about on boarding DarkKnight and ensuring that the is a consensus and agreement with our proposal.

Based on the above proposal, it can be argued that the proposal is within the rules of the game already, however we have all played this game far to long to be banned because of any misunderstandings, and our best bet is to convince DarkKnight to back the above warehouse loan facility.

As mentioned earlier, the warehouse should be used to store scrolls based on the following.
- The 1% fee that would usually be paid in market fee's will be donated to the Guild - i.e. 20% fee for the use of the scrolls. Whilst there should be a further levy to ensure that gladiators are motivated to contribute high level scrolls to the warehouse... Or they will use the Method 1 to hold onto their own scrolls and utilise both method 1 & Method 3
- If scrolls are taken from the warehouse, they need to be returned within 24 hours, or risk a ban due to pushing. I actually think that we should have a in guild rule that advises users to return the scrolls within 30 Minutes.
- If for any reason a scroll is taken from the warehouse, and lost [i.e. Sold to the Vendor, and the vendor refreshes], the Gold obtained from the sale needs to be donated to the guild, and a ticket sent in before the 24 hour window expires.I actually think that we should have a inguild rule that advises users to check remaining vendor time, and that scrolls should not be taken if their is less than 2 Hours remaining.
- A list of those that have added the scroll to the warehouse will be documented and kept in the Library - readily available at anytime for to be sent to the GO's on demand.

This could potentially be alot of GOLD, when gold in this volume starts moving around, doesn't it look like pushing?
NO, for a number of reasons
- Low level gladiators are unable to see the high value scrolls of 300K plus
- As shown in Method 2, this strategy could be pulled off in both the GM as well as the warehouse. The fact that we can do it in the GM almost as efficiently is proof that this is not pushing, but a well thought out strategy. [ I bet that there are people kicking them self for not thinking about something similar 5 years ago]
- The Warehouse strategy is just a way to streamline banking/Loan process and make it easier to manage.
- The warehouse has a logging system and access can be restricted and managed.

That been said, I believe based on the above proposal, we should provide the sites link to Dark Knight and await his approval.
Hopefully, we can test the theory in the XIII until we can roll it out to the DEN over an extended period.
