Can Multi's join in on the Rotation Strategy?
The Basic Question : Would we be banned if Multi's are used in the Rotation process [Connected via 3rd Party account] without the item actually moving from Muti 1and been "Permanently Kept" by Multi 2?
[19:26] <RomanKind> I am not sure how servers
currently combat this ... but if they use a banking system .. with amulets ,
rings or scrolls ... they usually add the item for value and place it in the
market for 24 hours... and someone comes along and buys it for the value price .. then place it
back on the market for value price - and
so it continues - now ... if i had an account say roman1 and roman2 and they
were in the same guild
[19:29] <RomanKind> Roman1 places the item up for
value price.... then John buys it then places it back on the market for value
price ... then peter buys it and places it on the market for value price ....
then Roman2 comes along and buys that item [ Doesn't keep it] and places the
item on the market for value price ... and sara buys the item ... and so ..
technically that is trading via 3rd party ... The rule was written before
multi's were allowed on the same server ... as well as allowed in the same
guild
[19:31] <RomanKind> would they be banned ? should they
been banned/warned ....
The Answer: No - the rule was not for that purpose to ban for rotation
[19:44] <Dark_>
Well, this is more of a explicit rule towards people who aren't connecting
their multies
[19:44] <Dark_> Or play without a reported IP sharing.
[19:45] <Dark_> Or well, if someone tries to push
himself via a 3rd person.
[19:45] <Dark_> So if you trade items to your account
in some weird rotation like this, it clearly doesn't matter
[19:45] <Dark_> That would also be too difficult to
track

Strategy
Ok - We are going to have to use a temperary solution
One that allows us to maximise the Warehouse ... and ensure that we get the most out of the next few days .... It also means that I am going to pay a shit load in fee's... but at the same time .. it allows us to bank the hoards of gold that we are going to be making..... and i mean a shit load of Gold
We need to move fast - as the next 7 days is vital... And this is why... if you have rubies ... spent them on the event until you get the second costume - at least
Every pumpkin that you collect activates a piece of the costume .....
SO.... VERY IMPORTANT - So please try and follow
When you collect your first piece of the costume, it will activate "-20% gold costs at the general merchant" - the importance of this being first is fantastice for us.
It means - for every pumkin that you use while you have collected only 1 piece of costume ... will activate "-20% gold costs at the general merchant" 100% of the time
Then you get the second piece .... your chances to activate "-20% gold costs at the general merchant" would have dropped down to 50% per a pumpkin...... and the 3rd piece to 33% and forth to 25% - where it will remain - when the costume is complete.
So you have a small window to ensure that you use whatever pumkin you have collected before you receive the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pumpkin
Now ... say you have 30 Mill worth of Scrolls - Which i believe we should have - if i throw everything in the mix... as well as the scrolls Sentinel will add to the mix.
If you have collected 100 pumpkins - and thats my minimum aim [ Don't worry about the stacking of 40% because you can also only do the 40% every 48 hours .... and probably will only need to use 3 or 4 pumkins during that event]
The calculation would be as follows:
30 Million @ 20% = 6 Million
If you activate your pumkin - sell the scrolls to the vendor [ make sure your vendor has enough time remaining so that you do not lose the scrolls - NB ] - The pumkin deactivates after 1 hour... and then you can buy back the scrolls for 30 Million - Making 6 Million in the process.
Now if you can do this 100 times - it is a profit of 600 Million...
Only question is ...... How many pumpkins do you collect before the 1st piece drops .... ? Do you actually want to collect the second piece of the costume ... if this is the sort of Gold you are able to make .... Although the pumkins will eventually run out
Anyway... this will only ever happen once ... so make use of it ....
Even if gladiators down the line work out the strategy ... they would have unfortunatelybeen too late... as their chance would have been dropped to 25% per pumpkin .... and they would take 6 - 12 months to collect 30 mill worth of scrolls - if they lucky

Warehouse Strategy Approval

All of the items that start off with you, need to finish the rotation and end up at your account again - meaning, one can't buy them and sell them and forget about them. That is something that is clear, I believe. In case that someone forgets about the items and doesn't buy them back after they end up being sold, another scroll can be used in it's place.
But yeah, there won't be any issues on the matter.

Hi Dark
Sorry about this, as I am a little confused
There are 3 strategies around the scrolls
1. Individual basis - You buy your own scrolls - trade them to the vendor - then buy them back after changing the activation [No one else involved, only the individual that owns the scrolls - This is the one that I currently use]
2. Guild Market - Buy the banking scrolls off the market, trade with the vendor, then buy them back after changing the activation - and placing it back in the Guild market for banking purposes. [ This wouldn't require buying back the scroll, as scroll is placed on the Guild Market for value basis, and it becomes a trust issue to ensure that your guildmates return the scroll to the GM ] If they decide to keep the scroll - all it results in is guild mates shouting and fighting for the scroll to be returned.
3. The warehouse strategy.
This is the one that approval was requested on.
Gladiators donate scrolls to the guild.[A comprehensive list can be kept of the scrolls, values, type and person that donated the scrolls - with the list been sent via ticket for savekeeping when there are changes or monthly]
A gladiator that takes the scroll from the warehouse, can trade it into the vendor, but has 24 hours [Killerloop has suggested 48 hours] to return the scrolls to the warehouse.
Hopefully its the warehouse strategy that has been approved, as my concern is the following statement "one can't buy them and sell them and forget about them"
Would this mean that the scrolls can't be left in the warehouse?
Unless what is said - is that if one has not received scrolls via drop, and has bought them for 2 X the price, they can use them to trade over the GM, but need to buy them back and can't use them as banking items..... That is a practise that hasn't been used before.

[22:42] <RomanKind> is it the warehouse strategy that is approved
[22:43] <Dark_> yup yup
[22:43] <RomanKind> whereby everything can be logged and monitored
[22:43] <Dark_> With the selling part, I meant the "selling to the vendor" actually
[22:43] <Dark_> :D
[22:43] <RomanKind> :)
[22:43] <RomanKind> great....
[22:43] <Dark_> Rotations are fine

Example of How Individual Scroll generated Compound Interest Works
Activate The "Seal of Consulate", and ensure the 24 Hour time limit has been Run Down...
Buy
all the banking Scrolls in the Guild Market and place it seperately in
your Magic bags - [Ensure these scrolls are away from your own Scrolls
to in order to be identified and managed during the transfer to and from
the vendor].
Place the GM scrolls with a seperate vendor.
Unpack all your own private scrolls into the other vendors
In the case on the right - This amounts to 32.035.125 [32 Million]
Then change the seal and activate any of the other seals .....
I personally use the Seal of Aedil, because it allows me to take advantage of the Market fee's when placing the GM scrolls back.
Once the "Seal of Consulate " has been deactivate, you will need to buy all the scroll back with the Gold that you have generated from trading them under the "Seal of Consulate"
Now that you have bought the scrolls back, you would have realised that you still have Gold over ...
This is the profit made from the Scrolls...
However, since I used the GM's scrolls as well to boost my total value - I will need to place those scrolls back on the market for 24 hours.
This effectively means, that since the "Seal of Aedil" was activated, I will pay a fee of 2% for adding them for 24 Hours.
Since I made 5% from the vendor with the seal, and lost 2% from adding back to the GM ...
My total earnings were 3% on this portion of the trade.
As you can see on the Left, after the scrolls have been replaced, the total profit from the deal is a whopping 1.660.428 [ Close on 1.7 Million ].
The larger the number & value of scrolls, the more profit you generated.
Keep your scrolls in you backpack, as opposed to your packages, as you do not want to risk the chance of actually losing them through no fault of your own.
Take
the Gold that you have made, and buy up Amulets & Rings in the
Auction - Since you have already used the scrolls in the GM, and to
maximise the profit.
Keep those Items in your packages for another 48 Hours and the 1.660.428 in amulets and rings - will make you and additional 5% when sold to the vendor.
Effectively increasing you profit for the sale to 1.743.449 GOLD
Not bad for 10 - 15 minutes work
